Today we had the experience of attending the Church service at The Garden at 7 Bridges. Personally I found this as a great new taste of worship style and something that I think would be a great experience for all Christians. There were multiple times during the service where I could clearly sense the presence of God. I also felt reassured that the message being preached was reliable, from my own knowledge of Gods word as well as the verbal confirmation from various people in the building. The music was also one thing that stuck out to me. The worship team was made up of 5 men from the 7 Bridges community who did a great job and it was clear that they put a lot of work into it.
We spent the rest of the day playing with kids outside and spending time with our group at the Atlanta aquarium, and later at a downtown restaurant together. The later part of the day was a great time to spend time together and reflect on yesterday as well as the sermon and think about the days to come.

Today at Seven Bridges our group went to the church and the service was very different than what I am used to. One difference that I noticed is that everyone was very vocal throughout the sermon, for example using “amen” very often which I am not used to but was also cool to see. Hearing them saying things like that showed that they were very engaged in the sermon and sincere which I really liked. Another difference that I noticed was the call to worship was a lot longer than what I am used to, and at first seemed like it was the sermon. In between this call to worship and the sermon was a little break. Overall this was a different church experience but it was really cool to see how people worship in different ways.
Today we also had the opportunity to go to the Georgia Aquarium which was a really cool and fun experience. Even before we went into the aquarium we walked around outside and took many pictures. This was especially cool for me because I have never been to an aquarium before. One of my favorite parts of the aquarium was when we got to pet some rays in the touch tank. The texture was way different then what I thought it was going to be. Another part that I found very cool and interesting was seeing the sharks up close and how cool they really are in person. Overall today was a very laid back day but was also a very fun experience.

Last group shot for the day |
Today was a good day. We had the opportunity to worship with everybody at church and then enjoy fellowship at lunch. After some play time with the kids we had some downtime with our group. We are all excited for tomorrow. On Saturday we went on route with several other volunteers (40-50 in our group). Tomorrow it will just be our group going on a night route with some of the men. The daytime will be spent working around 7 Bridges and helping with sorting donations. Please pray for protection and that God would continue the process of molding and shaping our hearts as he leads us throughout our day tomorrow.
